Behind the Album- Kalanit’s Story
At the beginning of 2024, the Lord instructed me to rest in Him for one month. Consequently, I was not permitted to lead the youth group, participate in the worship team, or engage in any form of work, except for four Saturdays. The Lord also revealed to me that I was to compose four songs, which initially puzzled me as I had no prior experience in songwriting. I had only observed my brothers engage in this activity.
However, I communicated with the Lord, assuring Him that if this was His will, I would fulfill it. This marked the beginning of my journey as a singer. Every Saturday, I attended a conference as instructed by the Lord. During these conferences, the Lord would provide me with song titles, which I would then write down. Over the course of one month, I managed to compose four songs for the Lord. I discussed this matter with some leaders, who suggested that I release the songs for public consumption.
At this point, I sought guidance from the Lord, asking if He desired me to keep the songs private. He responded by explaining that He had instructed me to write four songs to be released and shared with the people, allowing them to hear His voice.
This revelation brought me to the realization that I had been dancing to the Lord’s music for many years, and now I was embarking on a new journey as a songwriter. These songs were specifically intended for those who needed to hear God’s voice, particularly the younger generation, who are currently facing significant challenges due to the presence of the enemy. I am so grateful for everyone’s support and just continue to pray with what God is still continuing to do.
